12 Animes Like Orange

The beginning of Naho Takamiya’s sophomore year of high school is off to a tense start on the first day of class. She woke up later than usual, and when she did, she found a peculiar note addressed to her.

On the other hand, the letter is written by herself, but it is dated 10 years in the future! In the first, Naho is doubtful of the note; however, after seeing various events that were described to take place, she understands that the letter really is from her 26-year-old self.

The note reveals that Naho’s life in the future would be fraught with remorse, and that she wishes that her younger self could go back in time and change the decisions that were previously made.

The letter also cautions her to keep a tight eye on Kakeru Naruse, who is joining the school as a transfer student. Because Kakeru will not be there in the future, Naho needs to exercise extra caution whenever he makes decisions that include him. Now that she has the letter to serve as a guide, Naho possesses the ability to safeguard Kakeru before she is forced to lament her decision yet again.
