Young street criminals Tommy “Buns” Brown (DMX) and Sincere (“Sin”) (Nas), along with associates Mark and Black, are responsible for the murder of five individuals in the course of a violent nightclub robbery in the year 1999 in Queens, New York City. After enjoying the festivities with his friends, Sincere goes back to his house to be with his girlfriend Tionne (Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins) and their newborn daughter Kenya.
