Lee Jong-su, a young man with dreams of becoming a novelist, works odd jobs in Paju. At some point, he is making a delivery when he runs into Shin Hae-mi, a childhood friend and neighbor who attended the same elementary school he did. Shin Hae-mi reveals to Jong-so that she had plastic surgery, which explains why Jong-su initially does not remember her.
