Close is a 2019 action thriller[2] film directed by Vicky Jewson and starring Noomi Rapace. In the wake of her father’s recent death, troubled youngster Zoe Tanner learns that she is the sole heir to Eric Tanner’s firm, Hassine Mining. This surprises and anger her stepmother, Rima Hassine, whose family established the corporation and who has taken over Eric’s job as CEO. Having succeeded in negotiating a billion-dollar agreement for phosphate mining in Zambia, Rima insists that Zoe accompany her to the family property in Morocco while she completes the transaction.

Rima employs Sam to pose as Zoe’s bodyguard for the trip after her former male bodyguard was dismissed for having sex with Zoe. Upon arriving to the family’s guarded kasbah, Zoe asks that Sam remain for the whole time she has been paid, and stay the night.
