Jack Chambers, played by Harry Styles, and Alice Chambers, played by Florence Pugh, are a young and happy couple who reside in the corporate town of Victory during the 1950s. Jack works in the local factory, while Alice works as his secretary. Jack is employed by a mysterious company, and that company is responsible for developing and paying for the town.
As a result of Alice’s study into the mysterious Victory Project, tensions arise within the community, which, in turn, cause cracks to form in the idyllic existence that she and her husband have crafted for themselves. To the point that it begins to devour her, Alice’s voracious curiosity about the nature of her husband’s work on the top-secret Victory Project starts to take over.
