The story is about a youngster named Carlo who wishes he could be a real boy. When Pinocchio is brought to life, it is revealed that he is a mischievous and malicious young boy who gets into trouble and does wicked things. Pinocchio comes to life as soon as he is brought to life by Jiminy Cricket. In the end, he does finish up gaining some knowledge that may be considered to be of some worth.
