The battles fought by the cursed Joestar lineage against the powers of evil are detailed in this chronicle. Part I begins in the year 1880 and follows Jonathan Joestar as he grows up alongside his adopted brother, the shrewd and ruthless Dio Brando, and finally faces him off against each other. In Part II, which takes place in 1938, we follow the escapades of Joseph Joestar, grandson of Jonathan, as he attempts to master the Ripple in order to confront hostile, ancient superbeings known as the Pillar Men, who are the designers of the Stone Mask.

The events of Part III focus on Jotaro Kujo and his companions as they make their way from Tokyo to Cairo in an effort to rescue the life of Jotaro’s mother by vanquishing his family’s resurrected adversary, Dio. In Part IV, an Arrow with dormant Stand powers makes its way through Morioh, Japan in 1999, as high school student Josuke Higashikata (the illegitimate son of Joseph) and his pals search for the person responsible for a string of murders that has lasted for a decade. In Part V, which takes place in 2001, we follow Giorno Giovanna, son of Dio, as he pursues his goal of climbing the ranks of the Neapolitan mafia by working against its most powerful group, Passione.
