The title character, Kate, played by Eva Longoria, passes away on the morning of her wedding to her fiance Henry (Paul Rudd). After that, he starts a relationship with the psychic Ashley, played by Lake Bell, who is later terrorised by Kate, who is attempting to destroy his relationship with Ashley.
