After moving from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, Sean Asa and his flashmob crew, The Mob, are currently attempting to make a living from dancing but are being rejected at every audition they attend. After being rejected at yet another audition, the Mob goes to a club, where they are seen by another group, the Grim Knights, who then challenge them to a dance war.

After the victory of the Grim Knights, the Mob makes the decision to pack up their belongings, leave Los Angeles, and head back to Miami.
