After a mishap, David, played by Shawn Hatosy, is brought in a wheelchair to the emergency room. David, who is in a panic, is being questioned by Anders and Nagle, two police investigators, about his allegations that he and his girlfriend have been abducted (Lorraine Brocco and Dwayne Hill). Because David asserts that he is suffering from memory loss, the authorities question him about the time he recalls waking up the day before.
