Henry Brogan, a former Marine Scout Sniper who is now 51 years old and works as an outstanding assassin for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), is given a task to eliminate an unnamed bio-terrorist who is traveling on a train in Belgium. During the course of the operation, Henry’s spotter alerts him to the fact that a little girl is heading in the direction of the target.

This causes Henry to delay his shot until the very last second, at which point he shoots the target in the neck despite the fact that he was aiming for his head. Henry gives up his career in the government after becoming disillusioned with the killing.
